The Sunshine Coast Lions Club has been proudly serving the community since 1964. We raise funds and support initiatives in our community – for our community. Find out more about our organization and how you can help.
We are proud to support our community through various initiatives, including:
- Providing affordable housing at Greenecourt in Sechelt
- Eye Glass Collection
- Bursaries
We organize a variety of community events and fundraisers throughout the year, some of which include:
- Easter Egg Hunt – Hackett Park
- Tailgate Sales
- Weekly Gift Card and Meat Draws
- Canada Day Breakfast
- Davis Bay Sandcastle Competition
- Polar Bear Swim – Trail Bay Pier

Come on down to Trail Bay Pier for the Sunshine Coast Lions Club Polar Bear Swim. Registration starts at 11:00 am. Swim starts at 12:00 noon. There is Fresh Slice pizza available for purchase. The Blue Titty Committee is is providing tea,coffee, and hot chocolate b6 donation. If possible please bring your reusable cups. Please bring a non perishable food item for donation to the Food Bank
