Who We Are
The Sunshine Coast Lions Club has been proudly serving the community since 1964. We raise funds and support initiatives in our community – for our community. Find out more about our organization and how you can help.
We are proud to support our community through various initiatives, including:
- Providing affordable housing at Greenecourt in Sechelt
- Eye Glass Collection
- Bursaries
We organize a variety of community events and fundraisers throughout the year, some of which include:
- Easter Egg Hunt – Hackett Park
- Tailgate Sales
- Weekly Gift Card and Meat Draws
- Canada Day Breakfast
- Davis Bay Sandcastle Competition
- Polar Bear Swim – Trail Bay Pier

This Sunday May 10th is the next Sunshine Coast Lions Club Tailgate Sale at Trail Bay Mall in Sechelt. Setup starts at 6:30 am. Sale goes from 8:00 am - 3 pm. It is $15.00 for equivalent to 2 parking stalls, any additional stalls are $5.00. It is First Come First Serve. No reservations. We do not provide tables. The event is weather permitting. Looking forward to seeing you there.
