The Sunshine Coast Lions Club has been proudly serving the community since 1964. We raise funds and support initiatives in our community – for our community. Find out more about our organization and how you can help.
We are proud to support our community through various initiatives, including:
- Providing affordable housing at Greenecourt in Sechelt
- Eye Glass Collection
- Bursaries
We organize a variety of community events and fundraisers throughout the year, some of which include:
- Easter Egg Hunt – Hackett Park
- Tailgate Sales
- Weekly Gift Card and Meat Draws
- Canada Day Breakfast
- Davis Bay Sandcastle Competition
- Polar Bear Swim – Trail Bay Pier

Sunday April 12th is the first Sunshine Coast Lions Club Tailgate Sale. Trail Bay Mall in Sechelt. Setup starts @ 6:30 am. Sale goes from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm. This is weather permitting. The cost is $15.00 which is equivalent to 2 parking stalls, any additional stalls are $5.00. It is a First Come First Serve basis. No reservations. The weather looks okay. Will update tomorrow if it is going to rain then we will cancel.
