Every other Sunday, weather permitting, the Sunshine Coast Lions Club organizes a tailgate sale at Trail Bay Mall, in the main parking lot on the Teredo Street side of the mall. The sale is from 8am – 3pm.
Tailgate sales run from April to the end of September. The date of the first tailgate sale of 2025 will be Sunday, April 6th with the last one being on September 21st.
We can’t wait to welcome back our wonderful vendors and meet some new ones, along with all the regular and first-time shoppers who make this such a fun and lively event! There’s always something special to discover, so be sure to stop by, browse the bargains, and find some hidden treasures. See you there!
Do you want to participate as a vendor?
We’d love to have you at our event! Vendor spots are $15 for two parking stalls, with extra stalls available for $5 each. Spaces are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, so come early to grab your spot!
No reservations in advance—just bring your own tables and show up at 7am. Look for the Lions Club tent when you arrive to get registered. We’ll be there to welcome you with a smile!

Lion Jim Brookes was a dedicated member of the Sunshine Coast Lions Club and the founder of our Tailgate Sales. His unwavering commitment ensured he was present at every sale until his passing in 2022. His legacy continues to inspire and support our Club through the Tailgate Sales.
